I'll vote for anyone who sells the building our union bought, uses the proceeds to cut our dues in half, and posts a clear desription of our budget on the web site. Oh yeah, and the only sgt on the union payroll should be the President and that should be a part-time spot.
Should Sgts. be on the FOP Board of Directors? I see a problem because are represented by the PB&PA. The Sgts. on the FOP Board are money grabbing. We do not pay members on our Board. The members on the FOP Board are getting PAID $400.00 a month. One of them made it by merit. They are both on days in 005. If one of them goes to IAD as rumored will they stil get the $400.00 a month?
At least Mike Dejanovich (Sorry about the spelling Mike)used the CPD email to keep us updated. I for one will miss him as president, (but it takes the "Bar" to move up for pension purposes, Congradulations Mike.) This is just a hint as to a option for our present board to keep us updated. CPD EMAIL most SGT's have it. just a thought.

There is really no way to know who is sending replys. I seem to have heard these exact words spoken at the last FOP General Meeting by a certin detective. No! I'm neither of the two guys you refer. I am one of the 300 plus Sgts' that is still a member of FOP.
Have you got any new issues for the new contract. Is it to soon to try to research issues? Healthcare is not something that seems to budge. Why? Instead of 250 for the fitness test, why not a reduced price on healthcare?
Gordy ran off like a little crybaby when he lost the election and took the password to the website with him. the Sgts Association is working on a new site that will not look like the old one (did Gordy get a Vic 20 Commadore for christmas). Hey how many of you sergeants are running for election? But I am sure you are all whining and crying.
Dejanovich is just as bad as the rest of them. He and Cosgrove stood in a room of new Sgt.'s and swore that even with his upcoming promotion to Lt., he would make sure that the union business was in order and that the new website would be up and running very soon. Well here we are six months later and PBPA is no better off than the day he was elected. Nothing like turning your back when something better comes along.

At the last Sergeants mtg., they stated the site will be up soon. [give them until Oct. then give them shit]

Now that Sgts. can be on FOP lodge 7s board, the next step is to get you in our union. Will the PBPA put up a lot of resistance?
Sgts can remain a member of FOP but the membership would be directly to the State Lodge as there is no restriction.
Oh Bosses....By the way.... We have no union. FlOP is a bargaining unit.
Now that Gordy Barnhill is no longer in the office, the website has gone to hell.
How about another office type receiving his check from our dues picking up the duties?
SSS, How about a seperate topic for the Lt.s exam?
