I am very grateful to be in bed soon with my husband who has been retired since March of
'06. It was a long and good 30 years but it was sooo.... worth it. Paid monthly premiums, a condo in the suburbs and all the time in the world to do the things we don't do!
I wish the same to all you guys and gals. Have a great 2008!

Happy New Year.

Does anyone know that Gina Gallo
is still struggling on the pension
she gets from the city of Chicago.
Her injuries are worsining with
time, and the city doesn't care.
Does Chicago have a heart.

Happy New Year to all members of the Chicago Police Department
the best in the world

Didn't Gina Gallo write a book about her experiences on the CPD?

Gina Gallo is not a real person so how could her injuries be worsening?

What's her REAL name?

How did she get hurt?

Gina Gallo says she was tossed out of a high rise project on a drug bust Five stories up. Her injuries get worse with time and there's no health insurance. Don't the Chicago coppers take care of their injured officers?
I didn't know about another name
for her.. Doesn't any one remember her..

I read Gina Gallo's book. I was working the same area at the same time and there are a couple of things I don't remember that are mentioned in the book.

She and her female partner working a plainclothes incident team.

Her shooting someone.

Her being tossed out of any building.

I don't remember Her period.

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
