Well it has been over two weeks since my last post. I seem to have hit a wall and can not come up anything to post about. I am more than willing to post on subjects that are suggested by the readers. One reader has suggested VEBA as a topic but I felt I covered it in a previous post.

Glad you're back sarge. Was beginning to think you retired. Wish I had some suggestions for you but it seems the only hot topics are boss-bashing, mayor-bashing, Olympic-bashing, weis-bashing, etc. Though all true (or mostly) I'm sick of hearing it already. Anyone have any good news?!

As much as I don't agree with SCS- and as much as he's refused to print some of my postings-God knows why-I don't think he's a hack. He's clear about what he is and clear about what his rules are- if you don't like it- maybe start you're own blog. I'm not being a snot here-I'm being serious-SCS is clear he's a conservative and reserves the right to publish what he wants.
If you want something different- or fairer-or more liberal or more conservative- built it!

Sarge, we noticed your extended "exodus." Maybe you need another Sgt. to assist you. The topics here tend to stay up too long and to stagnate. Maybe it's time to consider turning over this blog to a Sgt., or group of Sgts. who have the time and dedication to keep it up. Just a suggestion.
What's "conservative" about allowing posters to refer to women, particularly female bosses as bitches (and I'm not saying you all that to happen here, SCS)? Even though you may not like the people being ragged on, it's very uncool to call them bitches. No one would like to see their mother or wife or daughter referred to in those terms in print. Sometimes we perpetuate the very stereotypes of ourselves and our profession that we should be working much harder to distance ourselves from.
SCC needs to grow up. The blogmaster(s) there have come a long way from what used to get into print there, but they still have a ways to go.
