EXCUSE ME, PLEASE

It appears that someone is unhappy with the product I supply here. I don't post enough for his or her liking. Well to bad asshole! Stop visiting I don't need your support. Create your own site if you think this is so easy.

To those of you who visit on a regular basis, I apologise for the slow postings. Lately I have lacked the enthusiasm it takes to run a good daily blog. I hope that eventaully I will get back into a groove and produce some decent rants and some timely information.

Thanks
SCS

A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945 , a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated
------------------------------

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
---- ------------- -------------

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
------------------------------

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
-----------------------------

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
------------------------------

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own Government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:

List of 7 items:

Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent

Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent

Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!

While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.

There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort, and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.

You won't see this datum on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!

You're being b%^*hed at for neglecting a hobby???? Some people are beyond pathetic.

Relax SCS, you need to lighten up a little. Don't take everything so seriously. It' always tougher around the holidays - you know that.

Let's talk some fun stuff - like Illinois politics. I predict Emil Jones will be appointed to BHO's Senate seat. Emil has been a staunch friend of Blowgo and he always supported BHO when he was in the Ill State Legislature. Also, as a U.S. Senator Emil will then be in a position to lobby BHO for a pardon after Blowgo is convicted.

You still do a great job and a service, I check in regularly, now thanx to SLC, his up-dating in his sidebar is quite helpful. I still enjoy reading you (and RSM) when ever you do post. Thanx Sarge.

Nothing personal Sarge, but maybe you should just shut this thing down. Since it's obvously a chore for you to provide frequent new threads...there's no shame in admitting you would rather be doing something else. And we all know how hard you took McSame's loss...

Driveon Seargeant,

Sometimes the march seems hard and never-ending but after the battle, you feel good, win or lose.

This is a LONG WAR, strap-on and KEEP stepping up. We will WIN the war, we may lose a battle or two.

But we NEVER quit!!!

God Bless YOU!

Hey asshole...SCS ought to be worried about the Messiah's coronation...let's talk about Hussein Obama and his promise of "change you can believe in"...let's see...every one of his appointments is either a Clinton retread or one of the defeated candidates for the Democratic primary...and as we slide into a Depression created in the last 2 years the Dumocrats have had the House & Senate the truth will become clear...
jobs being shipped overseas,
failure of FNMA,
mortgages being dealt out wholesale to losers who had no intent to repay,
flow of illegal immigrants,
failure to eliminate Osama Bin Laden,
deregulation of credit,
deconstrauciton of the U.S. military,
unfunded entitlements, and on and on...
ALL started during the Clinton years by the very SAME advisors.
Now Obama can take office carrying the stink of his close association with Chicago & Illinois politics.
Where's the "change?!"

Remember this you dim-witted Dumocrats the next time you step into the voting booth:

Why did Jimmy Carter vote for Obama?

He didn't want to be the worst President in U.S. history.

I am one who totally understands, SSS. The daughter of a Milwaukee detective, the sister of o former Milwaukee copper, the niece of two Milwaukee detectives, AND the cousin of a great man, Frank Cherney (deceased), who began the Detective Bureau of the Shorewood, Wisconsin, Police Departemnt.

We all get days, SSS, when we just become so sick of the BS. You are allowed to take time off. If anyone wants to contest your choice, have them visit www.anotherthousandwords.blogspot.com and leave their complaint with me, Grammar Gal.

You guys have a tough job, with little or no support. PLEASE, keep doing it!

Sarge,

Post when YOU want to, not when someone else thinks you should. It's your blog and you can do with it what you want. If you feel like taking a hiatus, no worries, we'll be here when you get back.

Be safe out there.

SCS,
I visit your site on a regular basis. I enjoy your perspective, and don't feel that you owe anyone anything.

Keep up the good work.

Everybody knows Sergeants are the hardest working members of the Dept.

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
