May God continue to bless this "gentle giant" police officer. I read somewhere at another site that this officer was transported to another hospital Monday morning & was in intensive care. Hard to be believe after watching this video from this past Friday. He was so inspirational & genuine that I pray God continues to heal him so that he may go on giving others hope as well. SCS please inform us citizens who enjoy your site any news on this officer. My family & I thank all of you who keep us safe in this city.

A huge thank you to our brothers & sisters of the Denver P.D. That chief of theirs is one stand up guy to take the time to go see Densey. I worked with Densey's dad, Densey & even his mom! Let me tell you, they raised one hell of great man. As I remember conversations that I shared with each one of them when we worked,I found that they all shared the same belief of a strong loving family who always was there for each other. I love you guys & will keep you in daily prayers.

SCS and SCC find out... What happened to Densey? Another website says he went to Swedish Medical ICU in Englewood with an emergency Monday. We're all praying for you, Den! God bless! Take it easy, man.

CHECK OUT SCC if you havent as well.
I'm no computer guru facebooker myspace man like they say to do to hear about Densey. I wish there was more here. Can somebody let the rest of us know how he's really doing? I'm glad we got to see the video here of his progress (proud of you man!) but I heard our brother is now in a really bad way since going to Swedish on Monday. Another guy got it straight from CO and says he's all alone. That can't be right. I saw the recent wedding pics online. I remember his parents from the job. Great crew! I don't really know Densey BUT YOU GUYS THAT DO, I SAY GET ON IT NOW. CALL HIS FAMILY MEMBERS AND FIND OUT ABOUT HIM. Pray for Densey!

Read comment #9 & felt your frustration. A Colorado brother was upset when he realized many people could not find out about Denz unless they were one of the wife's facebook friends. He confirmed that he is in Swedish Hospital (across from Craig) since Monday, had surgery today
(Fri.) to put trach. back in. Wife left Thurs. morning to go to Chgo. Luckily his Dad has finally been able to get to see him & support him through this battle. Hopefully all his family will be able to be with him as they were such a tight family. Thanks Co. for giving us this info. on Denz. We are all praying for him & his parents.

This is what makes me proud to be a police officer. THANK YOU DENVER PD for looking out for one of ours. That piece of shit that went into his car should be hung!! Tortured first. This piece of shit has no rights and should not be allowed to live!!! I hope you suffer a horrible death you piece of dirt.

According to Mary, Densey is back at Craig and progressing well once again. The setback and re-insertion of the trach - is a complication that occurs many times with people who have Densey's type of injury. Although there I had some bad moments over it, it appears that he will be able to move forward once again in his rehab and recovery...
I hope everyone will still pray for Densey.
I also am very thankful for all the officers in Colorado, Denver, Englewood and ALL the surrounding towns, cities, and suburbs, for the attention they are giving Densey and his family.

I am a little late but just viewed this clip. It was am impressive story and handled well by the local media.

It astounds me that we never see such a story here in Chicago. The truth about how the animals act.

Just goes to show how thjings are different once you leave Chicago. Best wished to D.C.

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
