Bob and I worked together 32 years ago at the Sun-Times. He was the sweetest young man I have ever met. The world needs more people like you in it. You definitely will be a Guardian Angel in Heaven. God Bless you and your family. I pray for you all.

Robert and I worked together in
(10th District) in Chicago for several years..Bob was truly an amazing person, it breaks my heart that I did not keep in touch with him since I left the job 8 years ago..and then to hear he met such a terrible death...he was a great police officer and even with his dying words was able to give a detailed description of the offenders..I am not surprised...he was no push over, a great police officer making awesome arrest. Here's to you my friend Robert Soto on your last great arrest...Great job...You were truly one of Chicago's Finest!

Robert was a good man ? but he tried to use his badge to get tail while he was married no less and in the end it cost him his life and a innocent woman. If that equals to a good man then I guess he was .

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
