I didn't go. It was stupid to buy a building that only southsiders could love. With the Ryan going to crap, who wants to sit in traffic.A centally located building is whats needed, but I doubt if the current place could be sold without taking a finacial bath.

What was the general tone? Ambivalence or are Sgts. worried about the free MAGIC SHOW the city is providing?
The Amazing, Shrinking Pension
The Vanishing Medical Plan
Sawing a Police Department in Two (or as many special clout units as numerically possible)
The Multiplying Officers (9,000 become 13,500 using only the power of imagination! Shazam!)

Actually 31st St is about as central as it gets. However, I for one would have no problem with PB&PA having a building on the near westside. Cost would probably be a problem. Don't let hate for the southside get the best of you.

Get involved and find out what the
"tone" was!

I would not mind having a location on the north side. I enjoy going up there because the women are so frustrated, they give it up immediately.

SCS-Should have pointed out that I'm a blueshirt. I am involved. I go to FOP meetings. So was wondering what you guys in that other union are thinking these days.
"You show me yours and I'll show you mine."

I hope our next contract has everything we always wanted in it. Not that the city follows the contract, they violate it to serve thier purposes regularly.

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
