Unfortunately, this site is akin to the PBPA Sergeants web site. It also sucks. The FOP web site is a class act. The Fire Dept. web site is good. The Sgt's web site stinks. Pay the highest dues and get the least service. Typical example of getting raped by the city heavies. This site has nothing to offer & is copycat just like OEMC, Dicks, etc. SCC is the only true blog with nay worthwhile info. Too bad the circus never changes, just the clowns change.

Some people are amazing. The above asshole states "pay the highest dues and get the least service."

FOP members pay $35 a month and have appx 11500 members. Do the math and that is well over $400,000 a month
PB&PA members pay $50 a month and have appx 1200 memebrs and that is about $60,000 in income.
Now it is true FOP members pay less and have a far superior website than PB&PA but they have a far larger income to work with. Believe me this is no excuse for the PB&PA website to be in the estate that it is.
What kills me is this nitwit wants to complain about three blogs that don't take one fucking penny of his money to exist.
I don't know who any of these people are that have taken a moment out of their time to create these sites but I do know that SCC has them as a link.
As a sergeant I know I can't post on our website at PB&PA but whenever I send something to SCS he/she post it.
You don't like Second city sarge, second city dick or chicago dispatcher then get your own "true blog" you fucking cown.

Back on topic. The reverend that accompanied the shooter to the law office to get his patent on the truck toilet seat tried to defend the shooter on TV by explaining how the shooter got screwed over by the lawyer. He made an interesting point although nothing justifies what he did. He said that when the shooter met with the lawyer he was told that there was no patent for his idea and took his 5Gs as a retainer. He was later told that three days after their meeting a woman had patented the idea and that he was SOL. The woman interestingly enough was a client of another lawyer in the same office. Sounds suspicious to me. We all know that lawyers talk from two sides of their mouth. Overall the police did a great job on this.

Off topic here. When I heard about the Sergeant who was written for drunk driving by Austin, I had to say something. But first I did my homework. As we know, he has done this before and he will do this again. There are a few cowards like him who have even supported his actions. He brags about the Police Officers he has written for DUI and he brags about how he gives every cop a hard time when he stops them. He tries to provoke police officers to act out so he can call a supervisor and get a CR# on them and a ticket out of it. He thrives on trying to harm his fellow police officers.

I know Austin. I have heard him talk. He hates us. He hates Chicago Police Officers, he hates Supervisors, and he hates the Chicago Police Department. He has been quoted as stating that any cop who got killed on this job was a fool who deserved what he got. He thinks we are all below him and stupid. He is only on this job for the money. He cannot do anything else and teaching does not pay. By using and manipulating the Policies and Procedures of the Department he not only justifies his actions, but bolsters them. He has even threatened to get CR#s on his fellow workers. He did get a CR# on a watch Commander and desk personnel a few years ago. He is detested in the Traffic Unit, but he cannot be dumped due to FOP contractual problems.

He is a gelatinous spined coward and he can and will never be a real police officer. He makes no bones about his cowardice and even states up front that he will never put himself in any adverse position even if one of us needs help. He will never come to assist a PO in trouble, will not respond to a 10-1, nor will he ever help one if he comes across one who needs help. He will just drive by. He is a totally spoiled child of privilege. He was born and raised on the Gold Coast and got everything he ever wanted in life. His family has connections in politics and the media. If he is criticized, chastised, or disciplined he will go to the media.

As to the Sergeant, the man left a party and was on his way home. He did the right thing and pulled over to the side of the road for a power nap. Austin just decided that he had a perfect opportunity to once again hurt one of our own. The Sergeant was not driving he was parked. Remember that the next time you have a few too many. The Sergeant was a perfect gentleman when approached, just like he is in life. Contrary to the lies Austin has told. This was the most unnecessary action ever taken by a police officer. The reason; he can do it and he will do it again. He would not ever try to write anyone who gave him a hard time. He is too afraid of getting hurt or in trouble, so he picks on his own; those who he thinks would not harm him. There is a subtle message here if you see it.

There should be a hue and cry about him and his brother rat Howard Burton. Both of these guys have done more harm to the members of this department than anyone else. But this will be forgotten- until the next time. We should raise a few bucks and hire the best lawyer available for the Sergeant. Then, those of us who are always in traffic court should put extreme pressure on the State’s Attorney to drop this case before it ever gets to trial. Last, we should get the court date and as many of us as possible should show up in full uniform to support the Sergeant. Austin should be sent a very strong message. He should quit this job and go find something he is qualified for. A good cowardly profession like Social Worker or something.

0853, I know patents and the patent process pretty damn well. I guarantee you this. In the last 100 years, there has NEVER been a patent that issued within 3 days of filing, let alone within 3 days of someone first talking to an attorney.

The best I've seen from FILING to ISSUE is in the order of two years. And it takes most any patent attorney some time to prepare an application for filing.

Thus, if this guy talked to someone on January 1st, and then a patent issued on the idea on January 4th, it is a really, really, really weird coincidence. In other words, that patent that issued on January 4th, was almost certainly filed more than two years prior to January 4th, and long before the guy talked to someone on January 1st.

If you don't believe me, go to http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/PTO/srchnum.htm and search for patents. They are around 7100000 or 7200000 now in the U.S. Any number you pull up will have the issue date and the application date on the front page, and I guarantee you that you will NEVER see a patent issued within 3 days of filing.

Hope this helps clarify THAT particular story getting bandied about.

Thanks for clearing that patent issue up. We all learned something.

The 9th District should step up to the plate on this one. This BS sandbag job shouldn't be done to Joe Blow much less another police officer. The going rate as I recall for an officer used to be 30 days and you go into a program. Towing his car, putting him in the lockup! If true, this is f!#^*+g insanity. Was there a WC on duty that night who allowed this shit(lockup & towing) to happen or did austin order this too?? 009 you've got to run a fundraiser for F.L. and back him up. NOW. Call it a birthday party, watch party, call it what you want. 50/50's, door prizes, whatever! pizza, sandwiches. FL is on the job a long time. Lots of friends. Lots of places in 009 to hold it. Shouldn't be a problem filling a place. One question. who is austin's sponsor into the enforcement unit? he's also a piece of shit in this mix.

Thank you. Mike McKenna was a good guy and my patent attorney.
All I know he was very concerned about me losing my shirt so to speak while obtaining my patent til I convinced him that I knew it would fly.. and that it did.

On the Traffic issue of the DUI, flip side of coin. Was it possible the Originating call came in from the Tollway, and was this on Tollway cameras.

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
