STANDOFF ENDS

Early this morning, according to the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, a hostage standoff on the south side has ended nearly 24 hours after it bagan. At this time not many details of how it ended are being reported but it is known that 2 are dead.

Its sad how holidys seem to bring this out in people. At least no police were hurt during the standoff. This goes to show that no matter how many plans you have to deal with this kind of thing or established protocols you can never predict the outcome. Be safe out there.
