Get Real

Qoute of the day......
'I know he didn't have a gun' Janet Goodwin

And the runner up for best quote.....
"They are constantly killing the black men in the neighborhood,''
Joiel Goodwin

Janet Goodwin is the mother of Johnny Goodwin, who was shot by police after he pointed a gun at them, and Joiel is his sister.

But my favorite quote is from an 81 year old neighborhood resident....
"I'm concerned about them getting killed. ... I hate for my black men to get killed,'' "[But] these kids have to stop hanging around. It's just that simple. I don't blame the police for protecting themselves."

STARKS MAKES A NICE STATEMENT REGARDING POLICE SHOOTINGS

"We know that any time there is a police-involved shooting, communities are concerned, families are concerned," he said. "But the police are concerned because they have a dangerous job to do when we have to make split-second decisions to protect ourselves while protecting the public."

POLITICALLY CORRECT REPORTING,at its Chicago finest.

NOT TO ALARM THE LAKEVIEW AREA BUT ANOTHER ATTEMPTED CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT HAS OCCURRED.

AN ATTEMPTED RAPE IS NOW REPORTED AS A BATTERY BY THE MEDIA.

NO DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFENDER IS AVAILABLE,CAN WE BE MORE POLITICALLY CORRECT BY OMMITTING THE MOST PERTINENT FACTS?

WHY NOT ADMIT THAT THE OFFENDER IS A SERIAL RAPIST STALKING LAKEVIEW?

IS THIS NOT FURTHER PROOF THAT THE MANPOWER CRISIS IS AFFECTING EVERY QUADRANT OF CHICAGO?

I ANTICIPATE MORE LAKEVIEW MARCHES AND PROTESTS ABOUT LACK OF POLICE SERVICE/MANPOWER.

MAYBE THE MAYOR CAN CALL CURTIS SLIWA FOR MORE GUARDIAN ANGELS,LMAO...

KEEP LYING TO THE MASSES,THEY SEE THE TRUTH.

YUPPIES PAY BIG TAXES AND WOMEN VOTE ENMASS,WHERE IS N.O.W.?

Woman battered near Wrigley

A woman was grabbed and pushed to the ground early Sunday in Lakeview, but screamed for help prompting her assailant to flee the scene.
The woman, in her 20s, was walking in the 1300 block of West Grace Street about 2 a.m. when an unknown man approached her from behind, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.

The assailant pushed her to the ground, and the woman began to scream for help, Mirabelli said.

The man fled the scene, and no one is in custody as of 5:50 p.m. Sunday.

A description of the assailant has not been released.

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
