Fat Man Al Sharpton flew back into Chicago to attend that rally and it looks like he's a winner among the brothers and sisters. The gangbangers love him for hating law and order.
Fat Al is currently flying around 40 cities on a tour to enhance his presence (who's paying for the tickets?).
Looks like we will see a lot of him in the future, as this town is ripe for his kind of religion.

Hey Green--If you love your neighborhood so much, why don't you get off your lead ass and clean up a lot or two. Maybe if you are so god-damned righteous, maybe you can attempt to mentor one to two of these kids.
It's easy to sit around and bitch--It takes effort to do something about it.
This kind of lawlessness can only be stopped by a consistent show of force, and a committed department lead by good commanders who know how to deal with this type of behavior. Some previous posters mentioned the analogy of disciplining children so they know there are boundaries to their behavior. No discipline results in spoiled brats who break stuff and do whatever they please. Reminds me of the July 22, 1978 riot at Pontiac Correctional Center where 3 guards were killed. Illinois State Police were called to the scene and were lead by Captain Charlie McCarthy from District 15. He marched the troopers into the prison yard in military formation, dispersed them in a skirmish line, and ordered the rioting inmates to cease and desist, and drew a line in the sand. Then, using some great psychological intimidation, ordered the shotgun wielding troopers to lock and load. The sound of dozens of shotguns being racked for action most likely sent chills through the inmates spines. Needless to say, the inmates knew that the State Police were not going to take any shit whatsoever and order was restored soon after that with no additional loss of life. CPD needs commanders like our now retired Captain McCarthy from ISP. Someone who isn't afraid to do what's necessary in a tough situation. But without the support from the Mayor and Superintendent of Police on down, field commanders will have their hands tied, and areas of Chicago will end up like parts of France, controlled by violent gangs. Wake up CPD bosses. Your officers need some real leadership, not political correctness.

Sharpton's money is directly or indirectly coming from the ultra-wealthy. They have a very good reason to use Sharpton; he keeps the Afro-Americans and the whites from uniting. By keeping the races divided, the ultra-wealthy will remain in control of this country with the use of the ultra-wealthy controlled media.
Let's face it, A schlock like Sharpton doesn't have any credibility in the white community; he never will. The Tawana Brawley rape case in 1987 should have sunk Sharpton's career.
Many find it incredulous that the media gives Sharpton airtime. I don't, by utilizing Sharpton as a divider, the ultra-wealthy remain in power as long as the races stay divided. Remember the old saying: "Divide and conquer"? By controling the media, the ultra-wealthy divided all classes of Americans and we will remain divided because the ultra-wealthy desire it to be so.
