Man charged in police officer hit-and-run
A 25-year-old driver has been charged with a felony after a hit-and-run accident in which a Chicago police officer was seriously injured Tuesday, police said this morning.
Marcus Stanley is accused of hitting a plain-clothed Austin District tactical unit officer who was making a street stop in the 5500 block of West Congress Parkway around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Officer Amina Greer.... (more)
