Director of Chicago police standards office resigns

Sun-Times
While Daley praised Morris and the work by OPS, he said community perception is often as important as reality.

The article implies that this stems from the Meeks incident.

Daley also announced the city will spend an extra $1 million to develop a program that will allow residents to file complaints against officers online and allow supervisors to track complaints, arrests and police activities.

Its not easy enough to just pick up a phone, walk into a station or even call for a supervisor another avenue has to be added so that more ridiculous complaints can be filed.

It's an election year, and that whore ' Dilly Daley" is throwing a few crumbs to the idiots that have voted for him in the past.

As a retired Sgt. (30 plus on the job, 20 plus as a Sgt.) i thought an affidavat had the be signed by a person before a CR# was accepted.

I will NEVER vote for daley, no matter what. As much as it would pain me to see JJ jr.; at least after 4 years there would be a chance to throw him out. How many mayors has New York city gone through in the last 20 yrs.

We will never get rid of this dictator, if we are not willing to tough it out.

Why isn't an FOP Representative or PB&PA Representative named to the OPS Director Selection Committee?

Cline's new best friend, Debra Kirby, was standing pretty close to him at the news conference.

FYI

No affidavit until the investigating Sgt contacts the complainant. At that point, if they refuse to sign, the CR is closed as UNFOUNDED.

Thats correct!! Its STATE LAW! However I wonder what the new ultra-liberal goof that will take over OPS will do? You know they will try to taper with the system.

Some weasel attorney named Grant? who stood at the podium in front of FatFill and was appointed to the selection committee, states "Does this mean I can't sue the Police any more." What a piece of SHIT.

Let's see, he helps appoint the person whose investigations he will use to sue the City of Chicago....Hmmmmmm....No conflict of interest there, is there?

And if that's not bad enough, the found the one white Catholic priest who absolutely hates white people. No mixture of Church and State there, because he's not REALLY part of any religion but the worship of Phleger.

Why isn't Fred Hampton Jr. on the committee?

On an unfounded complaint because of no affadvit and the officer is identified, will the officer be told who the complainent is

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
that can and is read by people other than Chicago Police Officers.
