A Chicago Police officer has pleaded guilty to attempted intimidation -- a misdemeanor -- and agreed to resign over allegations he pulled over two women on the Northwest Side and asked them to expose their breasts to avoid traffic tickets.
Michael Allegretti was sentenced to probation in the case.

Allegretti, 45, was an officer in the Albany Park District when he pulled over a 24-year-old woman in November 2004. He allegedly asked if she would cheat on her boyfriend and promised to give her a break if she flashed her breasts. At the police station she complied, but Allegretti gave her tickets anyway and she was released, authorities said.

The woman filed a complaint with the Chicago Police Department. Allegretti remained on the job.

In May 2005, he stopped another woman and allegedly asked if her boyfriend was in Chicago or Poland. He told her to "show me your boobs" and to unzip her pants and "show me how you touch yourself" in exchange for leniency, officials said

THIS GUY MUST HAVE SOME GOOD JUICE TO ONLY TAKE A MISDEMEANOR CONVICTION?

The Police Department was seeking to fire him -- based on the May 2005 incident -- but he resigned as part of his plea deal.

DOES THIS MEAN THIS IDIOT CAN BECOME A PO AT SOME OTHER DEPARTMENT NOW?

A high-ranking official in Gov. Blagojevich's office spent nearly two years in a federal prison for refusing to aid a government terrorism probe into a series of bombings in Chicago and New York City.
Steven Guerra, Blagojevich's $120,000-a-year deputy chief of staff for community services, was identified by federal prosecutors as a member of the Puerto Rican separatist group, FALN, which was behind a wave of violence and killings in the 1970s and early 1980s.

UNREAL-THIS IS A GUITIEREZ GUY TOO,FALN TO THE BONE COMRADE

I'm not Rosco, but I'm fairly certain that Saddam is dead, and that threat is supposed to have been neutralized. Are you saying that the mission hasn't been accomplished yet? That sounds like defeatist un-American traitor talk, if you ask me.

Yeah but how many of our soldiers have to die? Fine - it was a mistake about WMD but WTF, the 9/11 hijackers were just about all Saudi and associated with Bin Laden and Al Quada. We should have stayed in Afghanistan full force. So now the mission in Irag is "spreading democracy in the middle east"???? it's no longer about WMD and the like because that was all disproven. Wake up people - they (Iraqis) don't want democracy as we know it (it's adifferent culture). Move our soldiers to the borders (to keep Iran and Syria out of it) and let them fight out their civil war without our men and women in the line of fire. Yeah, it's good Saddam is gone, now let THEM fight their civil war and figure out who they'll put in charge.

Our soldiers are exhausted from too many tours of duty + extended tours of duty. We're spread way too thin......kind of like how CPD is (although they keep reporting sworn personnel are around 13,000). Yeah, OK; I'll believe that the minute I believe this Daley city government isn't corrupt.

Sorry, went off on a tangent but I've had it with these politicians (dems. and repubs.). They'll all be in the same political party one day - in hell if there is a God.

I'm no liberal. However, our job is not to police the bullies of the world and sacrifice American lives, so that other nations may be free of tyranny. This is in fact a completely different notion than what our government was founded upon.
We are not in a war in Iraq. In a war you actually use force and violence to achieve a goal. This is some kind of bullshit, sitting duck police action. The term war is being used to placate the American people, due to the number of lives being lost.
Not one 9/11 terrorist was from Iraq, was any of the money or training. Of course every asshole Muslim group is gonna attack our soldiers over there, we've made it real easy for them to victimize us. Our national safety would be much better served going after the true Al Quaeda in Pakistan where they train terrorists and harbor Osama Bin Laden.
