On 15 March 2007, the Executive Officers and Board of Directors on behalf of the Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association voted to endorse the below listed aldermanic candidates in the 17 April 2007 run-off election.
Endorsements were based on several considerations. Some candidates were endorsed based upon their past affiliation and support of the Associations’ interests. Others were considered after reviewing their responses to issues that affect our members. Questions that were asked of the candidates pertained to issues concerning their overall priorities, pension issues, health care for retirees, contract and promotional concerns.
A “No Endorsement” was recommended based upon lack of a response or responses that were evaluated as not being in the best interest of the Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association and its members.

Why would anyone in their right mind vote for Joe Moore?
His only votes should come from the geese, which frequent the parks in his neighborhood! But then in the Democratic tradition they would count and probably vote twice!!
How can you endorse Joe Moore? I have only met a few people with more contempt for the police, and I usually arrested them. Can anyone say Foi Gras? April fools day was on the 1st, now post the real endorsements
FOP endorsed Naisy Dolar.
When Los Angeles County rescinded its "Sanctuary" provisions, it found that more than 5,000 of the 10,000 Los Angeles County jail inmates were here illegaly and is moving to deport them upon completion of their sentences.
Chicago can't do that by law.
(Due to Sanctuary provisions)
Naisy Dolar's campaign manager, Marisa Garsiosa, is a staffer with the very same immigrant welfare rights group (IL Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights) that pushed thru this idiotic and dangerous Chicago policy.
Didn't Dolar work for Daley until the election?
