September 1, 2007
FROM STNG WIRE REPORTS
A 17-year-old Harvey man is dead, and two other people are injured, following a shooting in the Lawndale neighborhood early Saturday on the West Side.
Dwayne Patterson was pronounced dead at 1:10 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. Patterson was shot in the back, according to a report from the police First Deputy Superintendent’s office.

Three people were shot in the street in the 3200 block of West 16th Street about 12:25 a.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer. The medical examiner’s office said the shooting happened at the 300 block of West 16th Street.

A 15-year-old male was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the hand, while an 18-year-old man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the back, the report said.

Every time I see a shooting from the Lawndale community, I'm going to ask "Where is the outrage Reverends"?

There was also a triple shooting in A/2 w/ 2 doa, and a triple shooting in A/1 with 1 doa, along with the other 20 over the weekend. No protest though. Unless they do one for the poor future president that died after he choked on his bag of rock....

Please keep in mind that this is an open blog
